## How pages work
- One question per page, exactly as people type it, at https://isthereathing.com/<the question minus "is there">/ (e.g. https://isthereathing.com/a-free-online-pdf-editor/).
- Every page answers "yes" (Real things do this today. Here's the shortlist), "partly" (Things exist, but they only do some of it, or not well), "not really" (Nothing does this properly. We say so, and point to the nearest fix).
- Each thing on a shortlist carries its free tier, its cheapest paid price as the vendor shows it (or "not checked"), its platforms and its catch, each cited to a numbered source with the date it was checked.
- Every page is written by Jack Stovell, lists its sources, and shows when it was published and last checked.
- Every page has a markdown mirror: append .md to its path (e.g. https://isthereathing.com/index.md, https://isthereathing.com/questions.md).
- Where one of our products fits, it sits in the list with an "ours" label, never forced to the top. Ours: made by the same studio that runs this site. Not affiliated with any product listed unless marked "ours". No affiliate links. Prices checked on the date shown and can change.
