Yes. In the UK, budgeting apps like Emma and Snoop link to your bank through open banking and pick out the payments that keep repeating, and some banks such as Monzo list them for you, with no extra app at all. Rocket Money, a name you may have seen, only works with US banks.

## The shortlist

### Emma

UK budgeting app that links your bank accounts through open banking and tracks subscriptions.

- Link: https://emma-app.com
- Free tier: yes. Basic plan: 'track wasteful subscriptions', up to 2 bank logins.
- Paid from: £4.99 a month, Plus (£41.99 a year billed annually (shown as a 30% off offer); Pro £9.99, Ultimate £14.99 a month)
- Best at: Seeing subscriptions across more than one bank in one place.
- The catch: The free plan links only 2 bank logins, and the enhanced budgeting and tracking tools are on paid plans.
- Platforms: iPhone, Android, web (paid plans)

### Snoop

UK money app that connects your accounts and watches spending, bills and subscriptions.

- Link: https://www.snoop.app
- Free tier: yes. Free version: connect accounts, regular payment and subscription tracking, weekly bill reminders and contract renewal reminders.
- Paid from: £5.99 a month, Snoop Plus (or £47.99 a year)
- Best at: Nudging you about subscriptions you don't use and bill price rises.
- The catch: You have to connect at least one bank account, and tracking bills by pay cycle is a Plus feature.
- Platforms: iPhone, Android

### Monzo (built in)

If you bank with Monzo, Scheduled Payments lists Direct Debits, standing orders and other recurring payments like subscriptions, and predicts the date you'll next be charged.

- Link: https://monzo.com
- Free tier: yes. Included in the Monzo app; no charge mentioned for the feature.
- Paid from: not checked (not verified: no price stated for the feature)
- Best at: No extra app: it's already in your banking app.
- The catch: It only sees payments made through Monzo, and the official write-up we found dates from 2018.
- Platforms: Monzo app

### Rocket Money

US app that links your accounts and finds your recurring subscriptions and bills.

- Link: https://www.rocketmoney.com
- Free tier: yes. Subscription tracking, account linking, spending trends and balance alerts.
- Paid from: $7 to $14 a month, Premium (USD; US only; pay what you think is fair, 'typically' $7 to $14 a month, subject to change; 7-day free trial)
- Best at: Finding subscriptions automatically, with paid help cancelling them.
- The catch: US only: it works only for people in the US with US banks. Cancellation help is Premium, and bill negotiation takes a cut of what you save.
- Platforms: iPhone, Android

### Bobby

A tidy subscription list you fill in yourself, with reminders before bills are due.

- Link: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/bobby-track-subscriptions/id1059152023
- Free tier: yes. Free with in-app purchases, including Unlock Subscription Limit (£0.99) and Unlock Category Limit (£0.99).
- Paid from: £0.99 one-off, cheapest in-app purchase (UK App Store) (UK App Store, 2026-10-02; other packs £1.99 and £2.99)
- Best at: Privacy: it never connects to your bank.
- The catch: It doesn't find anything. You add each subscription yourself, it's only on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple-silicon Macs), and the free version has a subscription limit you pay £0.99 to unlock.
- Platforms: iPhone, iPad, Mac (M1 or later), Apple Vision

## How they compare

### If you want it free
Most of what you'd want here has a free version. Emma's free plan tracks your subscriptions, and Snoop's free version does regular payment and subscription tracking too. Bobby is free to download, with in-app purchases on top. So the real question is what each free version leaves out. Emma's free plan links only 2 bank logins, and the enhanced budgeting and tracking tools are on paid plans. Snoop's free version also covers weekly bill reminders and contract renewal reminders, but tracking bills by pay cycle is a Plus feature.

### If you bank with Monzo and want no extra app
Monzo's Scheduled Payments lists your Direct Debits, standing orders and other recurring payments like subscriptions, and predicts the date you'll next be charged, inside the banking app you already use. No charge is mentioned for the feature. What you give up is reach, because it only sees payments made through Monzo. And the official write-up we found dates from 2018, so check how the feature looks in your app today rather than relying on a description that old.

### If you hold accounts at more than one bank
This is where Emma fits. It links your bank accounts through open banking and tracks subscriptions across them, so payments from different accounts end up in one list. The free Basic plan covers up to 2 bank logins, but if you've got more than that, or you want the fuller budgeting tools, you're looking at paying. It runs on iPhone and Android, with web access on paid plans.

### If you want nudges about unused subscriptions and price rises
Snoop is the one built to nudge you about subscriptions you don't use and bill price rises. Its free version includes weekly bill reminders and contract renewal reminders, which is handy if your problem is forgetting rather than not knowing. The cost is that you have to connect at least one bank account to use it at all.

### If you'd rather never connect a bank
Bobby never connects to your bank, which is the whole point. You fill the list in yourself and it reminds you before bills are due. But it finds nothing, so if you've forgotten a subscription exists, Bobby won't surface it for you. It's only on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple-silicon Macs), and the free version has a subscription limit, with a £0.99 in-app purchase to unlock it.

The big split is simple. Emma and Snoop find subscriptions for you once you link accounts, while Bobby relies on you adding each one. That's convenience against privacy, and Monzo's built-in list sits in the middle, convenient but limited to Monzo.

### When paying is worth it
Emma Plus is £4.99 a month (£41.99 a year billed annually) and Snoop Plus is £5.99 a month or £47.99 a year, but Emma's free plan and Snoop's free version already track subscriptions. Paying makes sense if you want the extras, like Snoop's pay-cycle bill tracking or Emma's wider budgeting tools. Bobby's cheapest in-app purchase is £0.99 one-off on the UK App Store, which is what unlocking the subscription limit costs, with other packs at £1.99 and £2.99.

## What to watch for

Rocket Money is the name you may have seen, but it works only for people in the US with US banks, so it is no use to UK readers. Even in the US, its cancellation help is a Premium feature, and its bill negotiation takes a cut of what you save.

Before you link any account to any app, check it's FCA-registered. UK apps like Emma and Snoop connect through open banking rather than asking for your banking password.

## How we checked

We read each app's own website, help centre or App Store listing on 2 October 2026. We haven't connected a real bank account to any of them, so we can't yet say how many subscriptions each one catches. Not yet tested: connect one test account with known subscriptions and count what each app finds.

## If none of these fit

Do it by hand in ten minutes. Search your last three months of bank and card statements for amounts that repeat, then check the subscriptions lists in your Apple ID or Google Play account, which bank apps can miss when you pay through the store.
